Google Spam Update

The update's goal. Google's primary goal, as implied by the name, is to reduce spam.

As you may be aware, my website has been subjected to a Google spam update. and I lost almost all of my keywords, prompting me to look into who else was hit. 

Competitive niche

if your website is in a competitive niche you may get hit by the spam update Sites in very competitive niches have been hit more. Tech, pets, VPNs, etc

Auto Translated Websites

Google appears to have targeted sites with translated content as well. According to a report, multiple sites with only translated content have been severely impacted.

Auto Copy WebSites

if you simply copy and paste it into your site with no rewriting. Then your site has been badly impacted, and the chances of recovery are slim.

WebSites With Duplicate Content

This is why I was targeted: on one of the pages, I forced Google to index a snippet by repeating the same content in multiple locations. In addition, many of my competitors were hit because they did the same thing.
